Hello, and welcome to my blog in which I post about my daily speculations. I will mostly be talking about questions I ask during my usual life and will try to answer them. Some of my posts may be slightly biast for I am a Christian, but I will not tell anyone how to live their life, I am just advising some discretion. Topics that you may request are acceptable.

My Initial Post: Halloween
So this is my first post, I felt like being that yesterday was Halloween, it would be a fitting topic to discuss. For starters, I should mention that I am a Christian and that this may arise some indifferences between some readers. I shall also state that I am not the type of 'Christian' that will go around telling anyone who is not like me that they are wrong and will burn in hell, for I find that rude and improper. I would discuss my opinions on a proper Christian further, but that is not today's topic. I have never gone trick-or-treating. I know, you must find this horrible. The truth is, I don't feel like I'm missing out on much, just walking around while asking for candie, I feel like I can go to the store and buy my own. This isn't why I don't do it though. I don't go trick-or-treating nor celebrate Halloween because it is against my religion. I have never questioned this fact until yesterday. My friends had invited me to go trick-or-treating with them so I asked my parents, I felt like this would be my last chance because I would soon be too old for such things. As expected, my parents said no. I had a few discussions with them as to why I was denied permission to go and chose to do some research. With my findings I have learned that the history of Halloween is not a good one, it involves quite a bit of demons and contacting with the dead. But this wasn't enough, I wanted to know how asking people for candie can have any relation with contacting evil beings from the 'other side'. I came to the conclusions that it didn't have any relation! Well, except for one. You see, based on my research, the actual aspect of trick-or-treating came from a time when the poor people living on the streets would beg the higher class people for food. They would offer food to the tramps if they promised to pray for their dead loved ones. It seems like trick-or-treating has some nice roots after all. So why can't I trick-or-treat? Well the matter of fact is, wether or not trick-or-treating itself is a bad thing, it is taking part of a holiday with very bad intentions. So whether or not the way we see halloween is different today, it all still just remains a cover for a much worse celebration. Having a little fin is not harmfull in any way, but the fact that we do something against the way we were meant to is the bad part. This is keeping in mind that I am speaking for the Christians, of course.
